I am Learning Spanish

How many languages can you speak? To be honest, I can only speak Chinese and English. I have discussed this issue that I will probably have patients who speak Spanish with Martin so many times but he always turns me down. He said I can learn Spanish unless my English level can be more advanced. Last week, He finally accepted my request to teach me Spanish. Now, I am so excited about this. I think this is just a piece of cake for him, but not for me.
First, he borrowed a Spanish DVD for Beginning users from the library. This DVD includes one DVD and one booklet. This set is only for beginner level like me! When I played this video, I felt a little bit disappointed. The narrator spoke too fast and he didn't allow me to review all the new words. Finally, I gave up and asked Martin to teach me from the very beginning as A,B,C.
Today, we practiced some simple greeting and introduction sentences. For instance, Hola(Hello), Mucho gusto(Nice to meet you) and Como te llamas?(What's your name?), etc. So far, I can tell that English is totally different to Spanish. It is not only the pronunciation but also the grammar. Hope I can remember all of the basic greeting words soon.
